Hidden sex mini games have been a stable in God Of War universe, but had director Stig Asmussen had his way it would've been removed from God Of War III.
Speaking at an event in Los Angeles, Asmussen explained that those scenes were introduced to the original God Of War in order to help portray Kratos as a "man's man". The mini-game returned for the sequel, but by the time for the third game it "became one of these things where we're damned if we do, and we're damned if we don't."
Weighting both options, the design team felt that those minigames could be fun if done right and decided to integrate it more deeply into the game, making it "something that guides you through the story. You get information and more than just a fluff moment."
God of War III will be released on the PlayStation 3 on March 16th, 2010.
