Shadow Warrior Source Released

3D Realms have released the source code to its acclaimed Shadow Warrior game.

On April 1st 2003, 3D Realms released the source code to Duke Nukem and now two short years later the company has released the source code to Shadow Warrior. Available now for download, the source code is being released under the GPL license - 3D Realms retain copyright on the game (they also still sell the game).
If you have any doubts about whether this download is for you, try the Read Me before downloading the entire archive.

It is unlikely that this release has any appeal for non-programmers but it does mean that we can expect a variety of Shadow Warrior-based games to appear, for free, soon.

Once again we should all thank 3D Realms for their commitment to the gaming community.
