Shadow of War might have rubbed us the wrong way when it comes to its micro-transactions and encouragement to buy additional gear and items from the in-game shop, but that doesn't mean we aren't (now somewhat begrudgingly) excited for it. One of the reasons we're so pumped for this next insight into Middle Earth and Orcish culture, is because of all the varied tribes that it has in it. One of those has been profiled in a new look at the game. It's called the Terror Tribe.
The Terror Tribe is a brutal gang of orcs of various types and sizes. They love skulls and spikes and blood and they rule over their territories with an iron gauntleted fist.
Based out of large fortifications festooned with the rotting corpses of their enemies, the Terror Tribe presses its influences into the hearts and skulls of Mordor's population with violence and blood. They spread fear through their brutality and it will up to players to take them over or take them down.
There's a couple of interesting weapons at play in this trailer too, including some swinging chains and large, bladed axes, which could make for some unique challenges when it comes to fighting them, no matter how strong your horde of branded orcs.
