With Konami seeming to fall apart at the seems and the exiting of long time writer/director, Hideo Kojima, many franchises have changed things up or dropped off the map and unfortunately for those excited by the idea of a new Silent Hill game, that's no longer happening. Still, we have Allison Road you guys.
The short horror experience was released earlier this year and let players explore the small confines of a London apartment, but not all is well and soon reality itself seems to unravel as blood and black lines descend from everywhere and a lovely, if a little dead-looking, young lady pays a visit.
If that sounds like the kind of Silent Hill game you were waiting for, then don't fret, this isn't the only time you're likely to see it, as Allison Road is heading to Kickstarter, where it will perhaps be funded and become a full game for everyone to enjoy.
It's not there yet mind you, which means that for now we're sat twiddling our thumbs, itching to throw money at the developer, Lilith.
For more details, keep an eye on the official Twitter account as that's where most of the updates will appear, along with a date for the crowd funding campaign's beginnings.
