World of Warcraft's Legion is the next big expansion for Blizzard's online world, bringing with it a new level cap, new region to explore, new weapons and a whole new character class to play with. Most of that won't arrive until the expansion launches on August 30, but some of it is being introduced in patches over the next few weeks and the first one has now landed.
Logging in to WoW today, whether you have pre-ordered Legion or not, will let you explore the Broken Shore scenario, which gives you an introduction to the storyline in Legion. You can also take part in Invasions, which will give you an idea of the kind of content you can expect in the new expansion.
However if you have pre-ordered Legion, then you can start levelling a Demon Hunter character early, though the level boosting won't be available just yet, for those that want to skip them to a much higher level.
Early reports suggest a lot of the new content, Invasions in particular, are delivering some really strong loot for players, so if you need some new equipment or craftables, make sure to check it out.
Legion launches officially on August 30, with whole reams of new content to enjoy. Will you be pulled back to Azeroth to give it a try and see if you can help stem the the tide of the Burning Legion once again?
