Harambe the gorilla, who was shot down after a child fell into his zoo enclosure earlier this year, has become a seemingly never-ending meme making appearances on forums, subreddits and social networks for some time now. Just when you thought they might begin to die down though, Harambe is back once again, in a new video game appearance.
Recently Harambe showed up in the fan-made Harambe vs Capcom, which has the famed gorilla punching, kicking and slamming his way through opponents like Zoo Keeper and even Ryu, before making his way back to Africa. This latest showing though is in NBA 2K16, where the character creator has been used to create a Gorilla-like character, allowing Harambe to dunk his way to freedom as part of one of the world's best basketball teams.
Clearly Harambe is a little larger than his opposition, which isn't exactly anatomically accurate considering Gorillas top out at around 5'11" tall, but his shoulders look pretty life-like, as they're thicker than most other player's legs.
The only difficulty appears to be getting a uniform that can fit him. Harambe's chest is so enormous it clips right through his jersey.
