Playstation 3's games sales has finally picked up and almost doubled in the past few months, but this didn't result in an overall sales increase as it was countered by declining PSP and Playstation 2 software sales.
According to Sony's latest financial results, Playstation 3 games sales increased by 10.7 million units (reaching a total of 21.1 million units sold) during Q3 2008; but on the other hand, PSP software sales fell by 0.8 million units to 11.8 million, while PS2 games dropped by 14.9 million units to 23.1 million.
