While Sony have semi-introduced Killzone, their Halo-Killer title, rumours have begun spreading of a new game promising technology which will bring unparalleled technological advancement to Playstation 2.
The whole story started when a story begun circulating about a company working on amazing new technology which would put the PS2 back to the forefront of gaming technology. Initially the story maintained that the work would not produce an actual game but rather an engine like product to be used in the development of future titles.
During today however, a page (which didn't last long) on Blue 52's site, a London based developer, claimed that a game by the name of Stolen is under development for the console using that technology. It is possible that the project has moved from concept to an actual game but Blue 52 have refused to comment, redirecting enquiries to Sony, while Sony themselves simply claim that they have announced no such title. No denials then.
Even through all this secrecy the latest information on Stolen suggests it will be in third person with a female lead. The game is unlikely to officially appear for quite some time yet but we can still hope that some information may appear during the PlayStation Experience. It is more likely however, that in that particular event all of Sony's efforts will focus on hyping the much anticipated Killzone.
