If you're a big fan of speedrunning, then the next few days are going to be a lot of fun for you, as the Summer Games Done Quick event has now officially begun, offering speedruns of any game you can imagine. Set to run all week, the event is once again contributing donations and proceeds earned to charity, this time it's Doctors Without Borders and at the time of writing has already collected more than $140,000.
So far we've seen runs for NieR: Automata, Halo: Combat Evolve, Diddy Kong Racing, Luigi's Mansion and Okami HD, with a mix of Any% runs, full 100% completions and even a one-handed run to mix things up a little. At the time of writing there are 75,000 viewers of the official stream, with more than a million and a half views over the past 24 hours.
For a look at the full schedule to see as and when your favorite games may be run through in a manner which makes you feel ashamed to be a gamer, check out the listing for Summer Games Done Quick 2017 here.
The event is set to run from July 2 through to July 9, culminating in an Earthbound Any% run without glitches, so that should be an interesting one to cap things off with.
You can watch the livestream of the event below, though several record streams have already started appearing online, letting you take a look at some of the pre-game action and beyond.
