When Stardew Valley was updated to version 1.3 and introduced a multiplayer mode, fans of the relaxing, farming simulator were overjoyed to be able to play with friends. But there was a limit: you could only play with up to three other farmers at the same time. Not any more though, as mods are here to save the day.
The Unlimited Players mod removed restrictions on the game and made it possible to play with as many friends as you wanted, but that razed a new concern: space. If you have 10+ friends on a single map, how are you all going to find space for your own cabin and still get some farming done? That's where custom maps come in. The new Community Farm mod introduces a custom-crafted map that stretches 156 x 156 tiles, offering more space than you and all your friends could ever need.
The map has all of the important biomes, including caves, grasslands, beaches, and ponds and lakes, in total giving you more than 23,000 tiles of farmable land.
If you want to have a play around with the monster map mod yourself, you'll need to install the Stardew Valley modding API (SMAPI) and the map pack MTN. All of that can be found at the Stardew Valley Nexus, where you can also download Community farm from. With the two former additions in place, just add Community Farm to the mods folder and launch the game -- you're good to go!
What kind of monster farming projects can you imagine with such a huge map?
