JoWood, publisher of the Stargate SG-1: The Alliance game, held an auction for the chance to take on the role of one of the characters in the fascinating world of the game.
Stargate SG-1, is one of the most successful TV Shows ever, and in co-operation with MGM and Perception, JoWooD raised about USD 2,000 for the Child Cancer Relief Foundation.
The winner will get the opportunity to have his virtual double become part of the Stargate SG-1 - The Alliance video game, which is scheduled for late 2005. The winner will have his likeness integrated into the game as one of the supporting cast - and appear on screens all over the world.
