It looks almost certain that tomorrow is the day when Valve's annual Steam Summer sale saps us of our hard earned cash, as we bolster a gaming library already full of titles we've yet to play. Still, that 80% off deal is too much to pass up, right?
We already got a heads up from Spanish payment provider, paysafecard, which recently posted up a notice about the sale on its site. It could have been a hoax, or a mis-release, but it seems unlikely, since the image hasn't been pulled and is still there at the time of writing. It's even front and centre on the company's homepage, so it must be at least somewhat legitimate.
Other evidence includes this bunch of mystery cards that are currently up for sale on the community market. They're being created by crafting certain card sets, but what they do or what they relate to is currently unknown. It's presumed of course, that it's to do with the Steam Sale, but no one knows for sure.
Perhaps the biggest hint of all though, is that most of the current sales that are going on are coming to an end tomorrow, which is a Thursday (thanks SteamDB). These are week long sales that would normally run through to Friday, but just happen to be ending on the 19th, the day when it looks like the Steam Sale is happening.
Are there any particular games you guys are hoping to pick up on the cheap?
