Ok so the Witcher 3 isn't as pretty as people hoped it would be. Even though it has a sprawling world, unique enemies, and some truly pretty visual effects, the game hasn't turned out quite as good looking as it did in trailers from years ago. That's not too surprising considering what other games have given us in recent years, but still, it's a shame.
So it's nice to see new visual tweak mods appearing already, like the SweetFX preset, which changes some of the game's .ini files to improve the colour depth and lighting in the game to give it a more realistic look.
This isn't something that's going to blow gamers away, as it merely adds a bit more clarity and slightly less of a filmic look to the whole game, but it's certainly a nice change than what players are used to.
For the really impressive visual mods that this game will no doubt support before long, we may need to wait a few weeks. I doubt it will take them long though.
