Tekken 7 might include a clever feature that solves a problem as old as the fighting games genre itself.
Up until now, all fighting games start with each player on his side of the screen even though most players are usually comfortable playing on one side more than the other. Effectively, this means that one player might feel at a disadvantage if he has to start the battle on his weak side.
But Tekken 7 aims to solve this problem by allowing each player to choose his side and have the camera reverse its position if needed. For example, if both players wish to play on the left side, the right player's camera would swoosh around and show him the action from the other side while the left player would still see from the "normal" camera side.
Needless to say, this feature will be available only in game modes where each player has his own screen such as when using linked arcade machines or when playing online on a console.
