Tekken 7 begins today what will be an ongoing strategy for its future DLC releases, with the debut of Geese Howard, a character who has previously been confined to another series of fighting games: SNK's Fatal Fury. He is the first of cross-franchise releases, with the next one slated to be Noctis Lucis Caelum, from Final Fantasy XV fame.
Geese Howard makes his entrance today, November 30, with the release of his DLC pack, which you can pick up for $10 on Steam or on consoles. For that, you get him as a playable character, alongside his red hakama training pants and white kimono, as well as a retro style top and pants combination. You also get a brand new original stage, known as the Howard Estate, to fight with and against him in.
The stage features a number of destructible elements, indoor and outdoor areas, and Geese himself comes with a bunch of new voice lines for introductions and finishes.
Other DLC already available for the game includes a bowling mode and additional costumes for various characters. You can also unlock metallic costumes for free. While Geese is now available too, Noctis and his character pack will be introduced in spring 2018.
