While Game of Thrones series five on TV is just heating up, the PC game is entering its second half next week with the release of Telltale's Game of Thrones episode four: Sons of Winter. To celebrate that fact, there's a new trailer out for it, showing some of what we can expect in the coming few hours of conversational fencing.
As you might expect from such a trailer and our following commentary, this post will contain spoilers for the series to date:
Some of the wheels set in motion in earlier episodes appear to be starting to turn apace in the next episode, with Ashe and his colleagues sent on a mission by Daenerys in order to secure an army, while Gared is being punished for defending himself in the North.
Back at Ironrath, Roderick gains some unexpected support and may finally be able to put a stop to the Whitehalls which lord over his family home. He's also getting stronger in his own right, so it may not be long before he delivers a blow to the enemies of his house himself.
The only question about this trailer is whether the events in it are set in stone. Previous episodes have implied that choices may lead you to some of these outcomes, but if there is no way to avoid them, how versatile is the series really? And how much does it just make you feel like your choices matter?
