The Terminator is back again with a new movie and hopefully it won't spoil the big plot twist in the trailer this time. Set to run alongside the movie universe, Terminator: Resistance is a brand new game that will be landing on PC and major consoles on November 15. It'll be set 31 years after Judgement Day and see you playing a soldier fighting the machines as they slowly strangle the life out of the last remnants of humanity.
"Despite the fact that Jacob is just a private, he'll soon discover that he's been targeted by the latest threat from SKYNET and marked for termination," the game's blurb reads (via Eurogamer).
"SKYNET may be destined to lose this war, but at what cost to Jacob? Experience the events leading up to the decisive final battle, smash SKYNET's Defence Grid and help decide the fate of mankind in the war against the machines!"
The game hints that how you play the game will impact the story, who will survive, and the kind of ending you'll get. Details aren't super thick right now, but the game looks relatively polished. We wouldn't be surprised if there's a few bugs and problems though. This is a movie tie-in after all.
