Big, muscular characters are nothing new in games, but finding real-world analogs to voice them certainly is. Terry Crews has made a case for becoming the voice of major characters like Doom Fist in Overwatch and now he's making a play for Jax from Mortal Kombat too. And he might just get it.

Jax is a hugely muscular character in Mortal Kombat, as most of them are, but his defining characteristic is his robotic arms. That's something that popular online artist, BossLogic, feels would be a perfect fit for Mr Crews and it turns out that the man himself is very much on board with the idea.
"I would love to do this," Crews said in a response to BossLogic's original Tweet. As if we needed any more inclination to get hyped by this idea, Mortal Kombat 11 director Ed Boon also responded with positivity, stating "Would be awesome if we could make this a real thing!"
That doesn't mean it's going to happen, but at least the positive sentiment for the idea is there. Considering we've also heard that ex-UFC star and current WWE-star, Ronda Rousey, will be voicing Sonya Blade in the game, the idea that Crews would join the roster isn't out of this world.
Mortal Kombat 11 is currently slated to debut on April 23.
Michael Jai White previously played Jax in the Mortal Kombat Legacy TV series. Who do you think would make a better Jax, him or Crews?
