We got out first look at Pokemon Go a few weeks ago, but it didn't give us a great idea of how the game would play out. Fortunately now, as we get closer to the game's eventual debut, more and more footage is beginning to leak and this is what the game looks like in its current state.
Funnily enough, the first thing that pops up is a safety warning - don't go walking off a bridge just to try and catch that Gyrados.
From there players can set up their character, with a number of customisation options. We could easily see Nintendo making a killing from extra aesthetic items.
Moving on to the game proper, players can walk around the real world, while looking for Pokemon, finding them located in unique spots around their town or state. We're hoping we don't need to fly abroad to get some of the more legendary beasts out there, but we wouldn't be surprised.
Pokemon can be found living wild or in eggs, letting you raise them from youngsters all the way to battle hardened veterans and there is a Pokedex to complete if you're interested in trying to capture everything.
Pokemon Go is expected to release sometime in 2016.
