Do you have a favorite virtual reality game? Are you an Oculus or an HTC Vive fanboy? A number of the best are now nominated as part of the VR Awards 2017 shortlist, with voting to crown the winner in each category set to take place in October.
In the VR headset of the year category, HTC will face off against Oculus, Razer for its OSVR headset, Sony's PlayStation VR and the Starbreeze StarVR headsets. The mobile headset category will see Merge VR, Google Daydream View, Samsung Gear VR and Homido V2 headsets battle it out for the top spot.
When it comes to software there are even more competitors. Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-Ality is a likely favorite, but it will be competing with Epic Games' Robo Recall, Audioshield, Lucky's Tale, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Raw Data, Virtual Virtual Reality, Arizona Sunshine and Superhot VR - many of the year's bests.
The VR Awards are looking at more than just gaming with its prizes though. It also has categories for most creative virtual reality marketing, best use of VR in education and best VR experience. The latter has titles like Titlbrush, theBlue, Google Earth VR and Mission: ISS facing off against one another.
Presented by AMD and several other sponsors and judged by a number of industry heads and journalists, the VR Awards 2017 will take place on October 9 in London, crowing a number of victors and bringing together hundreds of virtual reality enthusiasts. You can grab tickets now if you want to attend in person, though the cheapest is £120 ($155).
It does include dinner and champagne at least.
