The world record for the highest Xbox gamerscore in the world has just been broken by the previous record holder. Ray Cox, known online as Stallion83, has reached the 2 million mark after four years of dedicated gaming since his last big milestone.
Cox made headlines in 2014 when he became the first Xbox gamer to reach a million gamerscore points on his account. He's a dedicated achievement hunter and though his style of play isn't for everyone, there's no denying that he's been able to do what many others haven't. Although there are more than 50 gamers around the world with a million points today, Cox is now well ahead of most of the pack with 2 million.
He crested that amazing score this week while playing Halo 2 from the Master Chief collection. He livestreamed the moment he earned those final points too, letting fans from around the world join in on his celebration.
Cox earned his first Xbox achievement back in November 2005 and has been plugging away ever since, as per Kotaku. He's not sure if he's going to go for the three million mark, but we wouldn't put it past him.
If he doesn't others may take up the mantle as there are three gamers who are within 30,000 points of him -- one who is just 1,490 points behind, so AP 8T8 will likely him 2 million themselves in the coming weeks.
