According to a report on Industry site, Famitsu, Metal Gear Solid 3 will be the last game in the series that Hideo Kojima will work on. It is, of course, through the careful wording of the announcement that we understand that the possibility of a fourth MGS is not ruled out but only the involvment of the Japanese games guru.
During last week's Playstation Experience show in London, Kojima also mentioned that MGS 3 will be his last title while introducing the new MGS 3 trailer. The new trailer is expected to be released at some time during this week.
It is widely expected that Kojima will need the time off in order to get acquainted with the PS3 and begin creating material for it. One thing is certain however, whatever he gets involved in is guaranteed excessive coverage and endless interviews.
