If you thought the Old World was safe because you completed a campaign of Total War: Warhammer, stomped the Chaos, Orcs, Undead and any other horrors into the dirt and that you'd live out your life in medieval harmony, think again.
In the second DLC race release since the grand strategy title was unveiled, Creative Assembly has introduced the Beastmen, a race of Chaos tinted Bovine, which use their horned-might, cyclopean beasts and herds of their brethren to stomp out whatever futile resistance the world can offer.
The new update, termed "Call of The Beastmen," will bring the following to the game:
- New Beastmen Race in the Grand Campaign
- Two New Playable Legendary Lords
- Adds an additional campaign map to the game with the unique ‘Eye for an Eye’ Beastmen story Campaign
- Hordes of New Unique Units, Monsters, Heroes, Magic and Game Features
Although a full unit count or changelog has yet to be provided, the trailer for the DLC shows us various infantry units, including gors and ungors; beast giants and even chaos-inbred swine.
Currently available to pre-order at a discounted price of $17.09, Call of the Beastmen will become available on July 28.
