Treyarch has worked on the Bond first person shooter, Quantum of Solace, and various Spiderman games, but this is over now as they turned to be a "100% Call of Duty studio'.
"Treyarch is a 100 per cent Call of Duty studio - and it has been for a long time now, long before any of [the Infinity Ward] events occurred," company head Mark Lamia said, denying any relation between the decision and the fact that Activision has fired Infinity Ward's president and co-founder due to "breaches of contract and insubordination" in March.
"We focused all of our efforts on creating the best Call of Duty game we possibly can and what that meant is not working on anything else," said Lamia. "We are a multiple team studio and focusing on Call of Duty and Call of Duty gameplay meant focusing all of our teams on that."
Thanks to that decision, the studio will have a team dedicated to multiplayer for the first time in its history.
