If you get fed up with other players blowing up your previous cars in Grand Theft Auto V Online, there is one solution that a player has come up with: make your car really expensive and then insure it. That might seem like a dull way to get back at digital griefers, but it does have some genius to it.
Last night I started Operation: One Million Dollar Car on Grand Theft Auto online, as a troll-antagonizing goof, and MAN DID IT WORK. #o1mdc

In GTA V Online, if you insure your car, whoever blows it up has to pay the excess. That means that when Aaron Reynolds pimped out his car so that it was worth a ridiculous, million dollars, every time someone blew him up, they had to fork out $12,500.

Funnily enough, this meant that before long, nobody wanted to blow up his car any more. While that was a treat and somewhat the aim of his trolling exercise, Reynolds decided to keep the game going and made another uber-expensive car that looked entirely different.
And the whole process began again.
Thus, Gurntmobile 2 was born. She’s a beauty. #o1mdc pic.twitter.com/HS4Xl8IstG

Naming the second car Gurntmobile 2 - it was the sequel to his original Gurntmobile after all - Reynolds took the time to listen to the in-game chat every time someone blew up his car, just so he could hear them cry when he claimed on the insurance and stripped their bank accounts.
Do you guys have any good stories of counter-trolling in-game trolls?
