Night Dive Studios has completed its HD remastering of classic N64 dinosaur shooter, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. It previously remastered the original Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, so this move is not unexpected, but it is an exciting one. Because you know what remastering Turok 2: Seeds of Evil means? The Cerebral Bore is back.
For the uninitiated, the Cerebral Bore is one of the most fun guns to have ever existed in a game. The head seeking blade would latch on to your enemies' heads, dig into their skull and pump out their brain. And it's as awesome as ever in the remastered version.
Ignore this trailer saying that it's coming soon, as this was originally released back in February. Turok 2: Seeds of Evil remastered is now fully available through Steam, GoG and the Humble store.
The updated version brings better graphics, improved AI pathfinding, more verticality to some levels and a split-screen mode for two player online gaming. As Eurogamer explains, saving has also been implemented, which makes the whole process of playing a little more convenient than '90s games usually were.
Turok 2 is available at 20 percent off for the next few days, priced at $15.
