Ubisoft is sitting on a couple of finished Wii U and waiting until the console's installed base has grown enough.
"We have another couple of products that we are waiting to launch," said Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot. "Specifically we have one game that we wait for the machine to be more mass-market to launch... We have a game that has been done for six months. It's on the shelf, waiting for more families to have the console."
Guillemot believes that Wii U has benefited from the successful launch of Mario Kart 8 and that it would be best for Nintendo to strike while the iron is hot by lowering the console's price.
"With Mario Kart, Wii U made one step and we expect with Smash Bros. it will also do more," he argued. "If Nintendo put the right price on the machine then they will probably have a chance to do further."
