As much as the Uncharted series of games has always been hailed for its beauty, its earliest entries aren't quite the stunning lookers they once were. That's ok though, as like a lot of older titles, the Uncharted's are getting a do-over, as part of the Nathan Drake Collection, making them look much prettier.
To show off just how pretty, Eurogamer's Digital Foundry has been spending some time with the game, giving us some footage to work with and an insight into just how good looking and well made the new version of the game is.
Frame rates are high and smooth, screen tearing is a thing of the paste and textures have all been bumped up to higher resolutions. Texture pop in has also disappeared, which is nice to see.
More than just visually though, the games have had control improvements, to make them more like the later games and more intuitive, which has made headshots far easier to pull off, but just as satisfying.
