During his keynote at Adobe MAX 2011, Epic Games Chief Executive Officer, Founder and Technical Director Tim Sweeney demonstrated Unreal Tournament 3 running at its maximum quality in real-time inside Adobe Flash Player 11.
Unreal Engine 3 which powers Unreal Tournament 3 is one of the most advancement graphics engines available today for consoles and PC. Thanks to its hardware acceleration, Adobe Flash 11 is up to 1000 faster than its predecessor and is able to run UE3.
"With UE3 and Flash, games built for high-end consoles can now run on the Web or as Facebook apps, reaching an enormous user base," said Sweeney. "This totally changes the playing field for game developers who want to widely deploy and monetize their games."
