Red Mile Entertainment announced today it has licensed Epic's Unreal Engine 3 for the production of its forthcoming next-gen Sin City game.
"The Unreal Engine is one of the most technically advanced engines on the market and is a perfect fit for our Sin City video games", said Red Mile president and COO Glenn Wong. "The engine has powered several of the best-selling games of all time and I am very glad we have the opportunity to arm our developers with such a world-class product."
Based on Frank Miller's popular graphic novels, the game's design, scriptwriting and story generation will be overseen by Flint Dille, who is renowned for his interesting The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and Dead to Rights games' stories. Dille said that he and Miller "have been having a party coming up with nasty stuff for the game."
