Ok so you and I can't walk around it and even the guy that made it can't do more than show us what it looks like, but this Parisian flat demo from Dishonoured artist Benoit Dereau gives a great indication of what is possible with some space time, an artistic eye and $20 a month worth of Unreal Engine subscription.
Yes he used some third party assets and no, there are no animations, interactivity or anything beyond the static world that he's created, but it is a stunningly beautiful one. One that you could quite easily trick a bypasser into thinking it was real.
Not only does this give estate agents wet dreams about virtual showhome tours in the future, but it gives us an idea of the kind of graphical fidelity we can expect in the future. As Eurogamer points out, it's not a bad interpretation of what a really pretty Gone Home could look like too.
