Most of us were thrilled to discover that Jack Thompson knew who was responsible for the Virginia Tech shootings and even more so when we discovered that our beloved Dr. Phil concurred.
To question how these Eminent minds knew of the habits of the killer when the authorities had yet to reveal his identity is the equivalent of sacrilege so we will not dare to do so; instead, we will mention the recent police raid which revealed that the deceitful killer had the foresight to hide all his gaming paraphernalia as no evidence of any gaming activity was discovered. What is even more disturbing is the methodical way in which the culprit had managed to deceive his fellow students as most of them reported that he had showed no interest in gaming.
MSNBC has responded to the recent comments made by Jack Thompson and Dr. Phil and has focused on Mr Thompson's original statement to Fox News which claimed, These are real lives. These are real people that are in the ground now because of this game. I have no doubt about it. As some of our readers questioned our objectivity regarding Jack Thompson's comments it is these words, spoken by the Florida attorney, that should raise some questions. So soon after the attack how could Mr. Thompson be so certain of the habits of the perpetrator? Was he privy to sensitive information? If so was he right to reveal it? Or was he just following his trusty gut instinct? And if so was it just methane?
MSNBC also reveals the comments made by Dr. Phil a cumbersome tirade which should leave most of you with three letters in mind; WTF. Intrigued? Here is what the good Doctor had to say, The problem is we are programming these people as a society, you cannot tell me - common sense tells you that if these kids are playing video games, where they're on a mass killing spree in a video game, it's glamorized on the big screen, it's become part of the fiber of our society. You take that and mix it with a psychopath, a sociopath or someone suffering from mental illness and add in a dose of rage, the suggestibility is too high. And we're going to have to start dealing with that.

Once again gaming has sunk a nation into mourning according to Jack Thompson, who was able to voice his views through the medium of that unsung champion of free speech; Fox News.
Only yesterday the deadliest school shooting in U.S. history, shook the nation and before most of us, including the authorities, could string a couple of thoughts together about the incident, Jack Thompson was ready with the solution; ban gaming.
At least 33 people lost heir lives at the Virginia Tech University shootings yesterday, making it the deadliest such incident on record and, as is customary in such occasions, everyone has an opinion about the causes behind such events. The fools claiming that gun control laws are required, those misguided idiots suggesting that the example set by the aggressive policies of the U.S. government is having a negative effect on its citizens should all seal their orifices and bow before that unwavering tower of morality that is Jack Thompson.
Speaking during the Fox News coverage of the shootings Jack Thompson made it clear that he is certain that video games are behind this incident. We should trust Mr. Thompson's views he is after all, a lawyer.
