Video games are a big part of many people's lives. For some people, it's the biggest part or at least relates to some of our fondest memories. Zach Braff, of Scrubs fame, has produced a film about that passion, called Video Games: The Movie and it's just gotten a new trailer that gives us a taste of what we can expect.
There's lots of footage of big franchise titles, as well as a few indies and especially some classics from the early days. Personalities like Will Wheaton, Cliff Blezinski and Ernest Cline make appearances, suggesting that the cast of characters that will be relating their own feelings about gaming and its future, will be quite star studded.
The feature length documentary is set to release on 15th July and will take us on a trip from the earliest days of gaming, with Pong and its arcade follow ups, right through the early generations of 3D shooters, to the contemporary gaming experience and eSports. Gaming looks to get a complete going over.
Will it be any good though?
