Want to learn the basics of LoL? This TBS show will teach you

League of Legends is a game with a simple premise, but the intricacies of it are deep. From the metagame to the individual roles and goals of different champions, LoL is not an easy game to get to grips with, whether you're playing it yourself or watching it as an eSport, especially if you aren't a typical gamer who has experience in similar MOBA games.

To help out the uninitiated, TBS is set to air an hour-long special on October 19 at 11PM ET/PT, and if it proves successful it could become part of a series. Called ELeague’s Esports 101: League of Legends, the show will cover the absolute basics, as well as more in-depth components of the average competitive game which are worth keeping an eye out for.

Executive VP at Turner Sports, Craig Barry said of the show, "League of Legends has a massive, global fan base and ELeague welcomes this opportunity to both celebrate the game’s passionate community and provide additional opportunities to broaden its reach to a new audience."

Hosting the show will be League of Legends Youtuber, Kelsie "KayPea" Pelling, and eSports caster Bill "Jump" Carter. They'll introduce viewers to the game, give them a break down of how it's played and even offer coaching tips to those at home on how to get better at the game themselves.

There will also be some insights into the community and fan base surrounding League of Legends and a look back at its growth over the past decade.
