Judging by the history of the Megagames audience, there will no doubt be a lot of people that clicked this article just to write variations on "nothing, Runescape sucks." Chances are they won't even read this bit of the article, so feel free to point it out to them.
However, if you're not the kind of person that likes to read things just to annoy yourself because you only feel alive when you're angry at something, then chances are you're actually a fan of Runescape and have some ideas about what you'd like to see in the game. That's great, as the developer Jagex wants to hear them.
Last year Jagex launched the "Power to the Players" initiative, which was and is a plan to ask the gamers what they want to see in each new Runescape update. However, the first poll has only just been released, so if you've been holding on to your ideas, now's the time to let them be known.
"After unveiling the Power to the Players initiative at the end of 2013, we are delighted to begin this exciting new era with the launch of the first poll," said Neil McClarty, Marketing Director, RuneScape. "We're eager to listen to our players and their wants, and this poll emphasises the importance we place on listening to our loyal player-base."
The first poll is asking which update you would prefer: The addition of the Invention skill, or the creation of a new Elf City?
Other polls are coming later this month too, including which enemies should have better loot drops and what new kind of dragon you want added to the game.
What's your answer? Better yet, don't tell me, tell Jagex. Head here to cast your vote.
