If you have The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt pre-ordered, you can now begin pre-loading the game on Xbox Live, to make sure you have it ready and downloaded for the game's release in just over a month's time. That's quite a lengthy period for a pre-load, but CD Projekt Red wants to make sure everyone has the chance to play straight away when it's released, even those with poor internet connections.
As an incentive for those that haven't pre-orderd the game, CD Projekt is also giving anyone who does so now, a 10 per cent discount, as long as you're a gold member on Xbox Live that is. It's pretty rare for a game of this size and calibre to go on sale, before it's even gone on sale - as it were - but this does bring the price in line with that of the Steam version, as VG247 points out.
Although it's been delayed several times, the hotly anticipated Witcher III will finally be released on May 19 and will mark the end of Geralt's adventures, though there will be DLC expansions set to add several tens of hours of extra gameplay in the future.
