The recent changes to the way Microsoft's upgrade for Windows 10 has been pushed on users have left a lot of people with a sour taste in their mouth, but few as much as Erik Flom, who found his Counter Strike stream interrupted mid-game, when the upgrade began without his go ahead, killing the game, disconnecting him from his friends and beginning the lengthy process of installing a new version of Windows.
The precious moment was caught on camera too, because of course this was in the middle of the stream. Skip to 30 seconds in if you want to see and hear his high-pitched, dumb-founded reaction.
Apparently this was something he was prepared for, or at least thought he was.
"We turned off everything," he said forlornly, clearly having spent some time making sure that this wouldn't happen.
And yet it did. Microsoft's big Windows 10 push is getting stronger and stronger the closer we get to July 29, when the new OS will no longer be free for Windows 7 and 8 license holders.
