Gaming has always been a huge part of the Windows experience, with titles like Solitaire, Minesweeper, and Hearts each being played millions of times over the years. While these are all returning in Windows 10, those aren’t the only games you’ll be playing as Microsoft has partnered with King to bring Candy Crush Saga to Windows 10.
The game will automatically be installed for users that upgrade to or download Windows 10 following its launch. Additionally, other King titles will be added to Windows 10 over time.
A lot of hardcore gamers condemn Candy Crush for its simplistic gameplay and its use of psychological tricks to entice users to spend as much money on in-app-purchases. On the other hand, there is no denying that it has replaced Solitaire and Minesweeper as the go-to mindless time waster of modern day.
Candy Crush Saga on Windows 10 will support cross play with its Android and iOS versions.
