With its core fanbase of Hulkamaniacs and asylum residents, the WWE Wrestling audience is a varied one, especially when it comes to the games. That's why it's always been a little odd that the console versions of the game traditionally launch well before their PC counterparts. That's all set to change with the upcoming WWE 2K18 game though, with both PC and console ports of the game debuting at the same time.
WWE 2K18 is said to be the most realistic wrestling game ever, with a new grapple carry system, new eight-man matches, thousands of new animations and an expanded backstage area for some out-of-ring shenanigans. There's also a new MyCareer mode which lets you take a wreslter from the bleachers into the ring and all the way to WWE Superstar Status.
With the inclusion of wrestlers from classic eras, legendary superstars from bygone days and the biggest stars in the company right now, WWE 2K18 should offer just about everything you want when it comes to wrestler choice.
The game will be launching on October 17 on Steam, PS4 and Xbox One priced at $60 for the basic version, but you can spend more and get more if that's what you're into. The Deluxe Edition gives you access to the Season Pass for all upcoming DLC offerings, a MyPlayer Kickstart accelerator for speedier gameplay, two different playable versions of the all American hero, Kurt Angle, various versions of John Cena and special versions of Rob Van Dam and Batista.
You will need to put down $80 for it. Do you think that's worth it?
