This week has produced a variety of interesting news stories regarding the X360 and its launch, most of which may seem negative to those wishing to get their hands on Microsoft's new console.
The first piece of bad news has to do with the delay of two of the flagship XBox 360 titles. Microsoft has now confirmed that the game advertised as the flagship launch title for the next-generation will not be ready in November. Microsoft has been quick to guarantee that Perfect Dark Zero will be ready in time for the Christmas shopping blitz.
The second major slip for MS is currently a rumored one and not MS confirmed but this particular delay makes more sense. Launching a console with two similar titles does not make good business sense, especially when the holiday season is only a couple of months away. During a chat with EA it was revealed that Microsoft has worked with the publisher, long and hard, to make sure that Need for Speed: Most Wanted is ready for launch. This of course raised the legitimate question regarding PGR 3. EA people however seem pretty sure that Bizarre Creation's ambitious racer will not make it to launch and will be made available slightly later, possibly at the same time as Gears of War and possibly Perfect Dark Zero.
We have, of course, to wait until MS give us some sort of sign regarding the new game timeline for X360.
