It still is a long way for Microsoft to get an Xbox 360 exclusive Final Fantasy title and even a longer way for them to approach Nintendo's Japanese fan base but, at least, now they are one step closer to this goal.
Microsoft has reached an agreement with the notorious Japanese RPG creator, Square Enix to publish Infinite Undiscovery, an Xbox 360 exclusive RPG. Infinite Undiscovery is being developed by tri-Ace, makers of Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile series.
According to Square Enix producer Hajime Kojima, Infinite Undiscovery is an action-oriented, "dynamic, compelling next-generation RPG" with a focus on real-time events.
