It seems that Microsoft's global launch plans for XBox 360 will not come to fruition as the company admits there may be as many as 10 days between launches in the various territories.
To most of us ten days will seem like a reasonable amount of time but we are quite sure that a difference of ten days is enough to stop you from calling your launch global. Chief Xbox Officer Robbie Bach said: We will launch in North America, Europe and Japan in the same holiday season. There will probably be a week or 10 days in between the different territories, just to give us a chance to manage the logistics...
The statement about the same holiday season has also led to some speculation as it is unlikely that Thanksgiving counts as a holiday season in Japan or Europe. Then again it could be the old MS PR trickery at work here since the difference between US Thanksgiving and Christmas is minimal (longer than 10 days though). So you have to make a quick decision; are you gonna become so involved that you rush to add some fake post in a gaming website claiming to have the absolutely first ever news on the X360 launch or do you just wait until the price comes down to a reasonable level before you buy it?
It seems that the most reliable news you can get nowadays is that XBox 360 will launch soon and that it will be accompanied by 15 to 20 games at launch and 25 to 40 games by the end of the year.
