After the clock strikes 12:01 AM, November the 15th, Microsoft will be an official competitor in the cut-throat console scene. It is only natural to expect that the world of consoles will never be the same. All of those drooling over the prospect of owning one, and not worried about the $299 price tag and the $44.99 per title, will get your chance at 12:01 a.m. November 15 at the brand new Toys "R" Us store in the heart of New York's Times Square.
A repeat of the PS2's eventful launch is not expected, since Microsoft has stressed that they have produced enough units.
The Xbox will hit European stores in March and is expected to sell, in the UK, for GBP 299.
