Techland announced that the work on XPand Rally has reached the final stage. The list of features has been closed and now the main focus is on eliminating bugs and tweaking individual elements of the game.
The second phase of beta tests will not be dedicated (as planned) to the career mode. Grzegorz Swistowski, the lead programmer, comments on the change of plans: In this phase of tests we decided to focus on the multiplayer mode, as one of the most important aspects of the game and also on controllers' compatibility tests. We will get back to the career mode in the final, third phase of the tests, which will take place in 3 weeks and will be carried simultaneously with the second phase for about 2 weeks.
The second phase launches on Monday. All official beta testers received invitations to the next phase and those that replied will be able to download the new version for testing from Techland's server. Just as during the last phase a closed forum for beta testers will be enabled and a bug tracking system will be made available to them. Beta testers - start you engines...
