If you want a standard blower cooler graphics card, you pick up one of AMD's reference cards. If you want high-end performance you might opt for a PowerColor or Asus Strix design. If you want a graphics card that looks very different from the rest, though, you go for Yeston. The Chinese company makes graphics cards for both AMD and Nvidia fans, often with a hint of pink on the shroud of fan sticker. But the new RX 5700 designs are something else.
These snapshots of the new designs come courtesy of WCCFTech and were snapped during the ChinaJoy2019 conference. With a number of AMD partner companies set to release their custom RX 5700 and 5700 XT graphics cards this month, it's no surprise that we're seeing a number of these cards show up during the show.
Yeston's are dramatically different than the others though. While most sport classic, black plastic shrouds and fan covers, Yeston has opted for a grey and pink design which is distinct, if not attractive. There's also a translucent pink design, reminiscent of games controllers form years gone by, and a dual fan variant that's dressed up to look like a cat.
All of the cards are being sold with some esport flair and are designed to cater to a predominantly female audience; although we know a number of male gamers who would be more than happy to have a cute cat in their PC, rendering away.
These cards are unlikely to see much of a wide U.S. release, although if Yeston proves popular in online stories about the cards, we might see some make their way westward.
