If you are dead serious about your career as a fake rock band star, you can now pre-order the full Rock Band songs catalog for a humble $2,500.
In an effort to bolster its FIG crowdfunding campaign for the PC port of Rock Band 4, Harmonix added a new "Collector" backers' tier that'll receive the entire Rock Band DLC library. The exact number of songs is still unknown as it may be affected by licensing terms of individual songs, but Harmonix expects it to be well beyond 2,000 tracks.
If you're really into listening to 10,000 minutes of music, and if money is not an issue for you, this deal actually represents a 40% discount over buying 2,000 songs at $2 each. You might want to hold your horses though. Five backers have already joined the "Collector" tier, but that is still not enough to see the game through to production.
The PC port of Rock Band 4 is being funded through a FIG crowdfunding campaign that has collected $500,000 of its $1,500,000 funding target. The campaign has less than 10 days left at the time of publishing and the game won't be funded unless it collects the remaining million bucks before April 6th, 2016.
This deal is available only for the PC version of the Rock Band 4, but Harmonix is looking to bring it to the console versions.
