The PC Master Race is making its way to consoles in a new and exciting way. PC Building Simulator, the game that's all about crafting the best looking, most powerful, heavily overclocked systems by hand, is making its way to consoles. This could bring a number of the console crowd over to the PC gaming space, or at least give them an idea of the fun that can be had in building and upgrading your own PC.
But if you don't want to just sandbox mode build the PC of your dreams, there is an actual story and campaign progression you can work through too. As the game's description puts it:
"Uncle Tim’s skipped town, and he’s left you to run his PC repair business. Jump on the office computer, accept jobs by email and wait for customers to drop off their machines. Start simple, clearing out dust-clogged cases, removing viruses and upgrading memory. In no time you’ll be swapping out CPUs like a pro. Thermal paste? It practically runs through your veins."
Console gamers now have access to the same 1,000+ parts and components that PC gamers have, giving them the ability to craft all sorts of systems, as well as fix them up and swap out faulty hardware.
PC Building Simulator is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. If you want to buy it on PC, you can grab it on Steam, GoG, and the Humble Store.
Do any of you think this will convince your console pals to move up to the PCMR?
