If you've purchased a new computer equipped with an Intel Pentium 4 fourteen years ago, you might be in for a jackpot of $15 (fifteen dollars).
This little fortune is your fair share of the settlement reached in a class action lawsuit accusing Intel and HP of manipulating benchmark scores of Pentium 4 against AMD's Athlon processor in the year 2000. Of course both companies are denying all wrongdoing, nonetheless they agreed to aforementioned settlement as an alternative to a lengthy lawsuit.
All USA residents except those residing in Illinois are eligible for a share of the settlement if they have purchased a Pentium 4-based computer between November 20th, 2000 and June 30th, 2002.
If you think you're eligible, you can file your claim here.
