



The damage for weapons in this game was crazy, with longswords hitting 200 damage and the scaling was linear so there was a huge difference between weapon tiers. This modifies all weapons to follow a logarithmic curve instead, to reduce power spikes. This curve was carefully tuned to map to a good gameplay range.
Weapon damage was brought under control with most weapons following a curve from 45 to 90 damage, with the exception of polearms, which are now the most damaging weapon class in the game, which is realistic. Additionally polearms got an attack speed buff through some perk and animation buffs. This all makes polearms feel much better and is much more realistic as they are now truly taking their place on top as the primary battlefield weapon, while everything else is a sidearm. No more sword propaganda.
There is also a 1.5x damage version in case you are using mods that heavy reduce or remove stat bonuses to damage.
