Bloodbowl II has had a slightly wonky development cycle. It was first supposed to be released in the Spring, then May, then June and now it's been pushed back again to September 22. This is unlikely to please fans of the Warhammer Fantasy football game, so to try and placate them, Cyanide and Focus Home Interactive have released a new trailer for the game's campaign.
It showcases the main story mode where players take command of the Reikland Reavers, as they try and turn around their current fate to become league champions once again.
However the campaign will also serve as the tutorial, gradually introducing players to different skills and abilities, as well as walking them through basic aspects of play like passing, throwing, blocking and of course, fouling.
All the while gamers will need to deal with bizarre kick off events and weather conditions, restricted to the single player experience - since while they offer some fun asides to enjoy, but do unfairly impede one team or the other's progress.
Who here is still playing the original? My current league is going quite well, although my Goblins consistently take a beating from the tougher teams. Which is everyone.
